Est. £550 - £650
TONGA - 1886-1962 balance collection of mint and used stamps in stockbook which are, mainly, been identified; but unchecked in any detail. Includes 1886-88 values including 1d carmine, SG 1, mint without gum and rub at top; 1891 overprint set of two, mint; 1892 4d chestnut, SG 12 x2, mint; 1892 8d bright mauve, SG 13 x3, mint; 1895 mint selection which includes SG 30c and SG 31c with 'missing eyebrows' (with faults); 1897 values to 1s and mint, part set, to 5s, 1920 values to 1s and 5 values overprinted 'Specimen'; 1942-49 1d black and scarlet, Lopped branch variety, SG 75a, mint no gum; and much else. Mixed condition but many fine stamps. Stated to catalogue at over £3,800 (215 +/-)
