PAPUA - 1896 - 1907 group of stamps on annotated album pages and Hagner with postmark interest. Comprises of x2 1896 2d blue, Queensland stamps, SG 234, used with BNG barred cancels; 1901-05 x2 2d black and violet and 2½d black and ultramarine, SG 3/4, used with BNG cancels; 1901-05 2½d with Thursday Island (148) starburst cancel; , 2½d with Samarai cancels; 1907 2d black and violet with Samarai cancel (creased) and 2s 6d black and brown, SG 37 with Port Moresby cancel; 1907-10 Small Papua 2½d, 6d and 1s, Large Papua ½d, 4d, 6d and 2s 6d; 1910 punctured OS on 4d used with Port Moresby cancel; 1931 4d and 5d with AIR FORCE 233 with dubious cancels -possibly Australian ,1916 WEWAK cds on piece which is hand cancelled and was due to an exhaustion on 2d stamps - this only lasted for 3 days and a few other stamps. An odd imperfection but generally fine. (28 stamps and a piece).
