PAPUA NEW GUINEA - 1925 - 1939 FINE MINT COLLECTION of fine to very fine beautiful stamps from the Mandated Territory era presented on five album pages we see 1925-27 Native Village range to £1 dull olive-green SG 136 (small thin NC) plus Officials 1925-31 overprinted 'O.S.' type (O2) complete set SG O22/O30 VFM and Air 1931 optd 'Airmail' values to 10s pink SG 148 VFM, 1931 Raggiana Bird of Paradise with dates either side of value range to 5s olive-brown SG 160 plus Officials 1931 optd 'O.S.' type (O3) values to 2s SG O40 VFM, 1932 Bird of Paradise redrawn without dates range to 10s pink SG 186 VFM and 1939 Bulolo Goldfields range to £1 SG 224 (small thin NC) with a 5s olive-brown SG 223 VFM. Most stamps are in very fine mint condition, a few have minimal defects or no gum, these are marked in the scans and are not counted in the estimate of this wonderful collection. (+/-70 stamps)
