I joined Sandafayre late in 2021 for what could be the last, but certainly the most exciting stint of my professional career. A chemist by background, Italian by origin, I have always been very active following my extra-professional interests, at first athletics (regional champion of 800m), more recently puzzles and Sudoku (Senior world champion), with stamps being my constant companion since my father sent me a First Day Cover when I was just 49 days old. I have specialized in the Italian and Baltic areas, and at Sandafayre I am rapidly filling the gaps in my philatelic knowledge, fostered by a positive environment and with the help of my very expert colleagues.
