MAURITIUS - 1878 'CANCELLED' OVERPRINTS A mainly mint range on an album page of stamps from remaindered stock that followed the 1878 currency change. Includes 186063 no wmk 9d dull purple, 1863-72 2d pale blue, 3d dull red, 4d rose, 1s orange (x 2 inc one opt inverted), 5s, rosy mauve and 5s bright mauve, 1876-9 ½d on 9d dull purple unissued, 1877 1s on 5s rosy mauve in a corner control block of 3, 1s on 5s bright mauve along with 1877 ½d on 10d rose and 1s on 5s rosy mauve 'used'. Condition is good to fine. (16 stamps).
