FIRST STAMPS ISSUED 4 October 1969 (Swiss Currency).


CURRENCY

1951, as USA in New York.
1969, as Switzerland in Geneva.
1979, as Austria in Vienna.



Initially this international organization with European headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland used Swiss stamps overprinted for the Palais des Nations. Swiss stamps were withdrawn on 4 October 1969 following a postal agreement between Switzerland and the United Nations.
